NO. 2-11 POLICY STATEMENT IN CONNECTION WITH APPLICATIONS
TO THE COMMISSION FOR AN ORDER UNDER SECTION 121(3) OF
THE SECURITIES ACT, 1966 (ONTARIO) (NOW SECTION 79(a)
[80(a)] OF THE ACT OR SECTION 173(3) OF THE
BUSINESS CORPORATIONS ACT, 1970 (ONTARIO))
Notice of Rescission of Policy
The Canadian securities regulatory authorities in the provinces of Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba and Saskatchewan have rescinded Uniform ActPolicy No. 2-11 Policy Statement in Connection with Applications to the Commission for an Order Under Section 121(3) of the Securities Act, 1966 (Ontario)(now Section 79(a) [80(a)] of the Act or section 173(3) of the Business Corporations Act, 1970 (Ontario)) (the "Policy").
A notice respecting the proposed rescission of the Policy was published in the OSC Bulletin on August 1, 1997 at (1997), 20 OSCB 4057. Interested partieswere invited to make written submissions with respect to the proposed rescission. No submissions were received and no changes have been made from the draft.

The text of the rescission of Uniform Act Policy No. 2-11 is:
"Uniform Act Policy No. 2-11 Policy Statement in Connection with Applications to the Commission for an Order Under Section 121(3) of the Securities Act,1966 (Ontario) (now Section 79(a) [80(a)] of the Act or section 173(3) of the Business Corporations Act, 1970 (Ontario)) is rescinded effective April 3, 1998."
