Speak Up! The Evolving Landscape for Whistleblowing in Canada

The creation of the OSC's Office of the Whistleblower changed the landscape for whistleblowing in Canada. In this session, you will hear observations and reflections on this new office and engage in a discussion on key aspects shaping the practice of whistleblowing in Canada. Whistleblowers are a crucial part of ethics and compliance program, but this area is highly complicated for organizations and for whistleblowers as well. Panellists will engage in a discussion of key dimensions needed to support a speak up culture within organizations.
