The OSC has prepared a list of frequently asked questions to assist derivatives participants fulfil their trade reporting obligations.
Derivatives participants should refer to OSC Rule: 91-507 Trade Repositories and Derivatives Data Reporting and its related companion policy when determining their reporting obligations and for further information.
For further specific information on reporting requirements, refer to Multilateral CSA Staff Notice 91-306 Compliance Review Findings for Reporting Counterparties.
Trade repository designation
The OSC has authority to designate trade repositories under section 21.2.2 of Ontario’s Securities Act. See the current list of persons or companies that have been recognized as trade repositories.
