OSC Staff Notice of Request For Comment – Proposed Amendments to the Rules, Risk Manual and Operations Manual with Respect to Liquidity Risk Management – Canadian Derivatives Clearing Corporation (CDCC)

 
The Ontario Securities Commission is publishing for public comment the amendments to CDCC’s Rules, Risk Manual and Operations Manual with respect to liquidity risk management. The purpose of the proposed amendments is to enhance CDCC’s observance of Principle 7 of the PFMIs by requiring Clearing Members to satisfy their contributions to CDCC’s Clearing Fund by using only one form of acceptable eligible collateral: money in Canadian dollars.

The comment period ends December 9, 2019.
