Notice of Approval - Introduction of Broker Preferencing for Anonymous Orders on the CXD Trading Book - NASDAQ CXC Limited

In accordance with the requirements set out in the Process for the Review and Approval of Rules and the Information Contained in Form 21-101F1 and the Exhibits Thereto (Exchange Protocol), on March 10th, 2020, the Commission approved significant changes to the Trading Rules and Policies of Nasdaq CXC Limited (Nasdaq Canada) reflecting the introduction of broker preferencing for anonymous orders on the CXD Trading Book.

Nasdaq Canada’s Notice and Request for Comment on the proposed functionality was published on the Commission’s website and in the Commission’s Bulletin on December 19th, 2019 at (2019) 42 OSCB 9890.

No comment letters were received.

This new functionality is expected to be introduced in the second quarter of 2020.
