Innovate Finance in partnership with the Department for International Trade will host a roundtable discussion to explore how businesses, key institutions, regulators and government can collectively operationalise FinTech Bridges in order to ensure maximum benefits for UK Fintech's seeking to scale and export. This session will seek to clarify:

  • What are the FinTech Bridges?
  • How do these differ from other co-operation agreements, and how do both sets of agreements operate alongside each other?
  • What are the challenges firms are facing when seeking to export?
  • What do firms most need from FinTech Bridges?
  • What is the intention for the FinTech Bridges going forward?

This discussion will provide attending businesses with a view as to how their plans to scale could be greatly enabled by government support for FinTech Bridges and what that support could look like. The roundtable will also provide all attendees – especially those policy makers and government representatives who will be present – insight into the challenges FinTech businesses face when seeking to export.
